Casa del Podere is an Italian fortified house set in 20 acres of fruit groves and chestnut woods in the
beautiful region of Emilia Romagna. Just 45 minutes from the centre of Bologna and Modena. This location
represents the perfect base to enjoy your holiday in Italy. The house is very comfortable and offers a
breathtaking view over the valleys and mountains of the Apennines. The tower house, called “Casa del
Podere, sleeps 10-11 people.
It is a spacious, five-bedroom house.
On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen with fireplace and a spacious living-dining room. On
this floor there is also a bedroom with a double bed provided with a baby bed and a full bathroom with
shower.
Wooden steps lead up to the first floor, which has three bedrooms and two large bathrooms with showers.
Two of the first floor bedrooms have king beds and the third has two single beds.
More stairs lead up to the top floor, which has another bedroom with three singles beds. The panoramic
terrace is provided with deck chairs, table, benches and barbeque.
The villages of Montombraro and Zocca, with restaurants, shops, swimming pools and tennis courts are at
walking distance. We organize cookery courses for enthusiastic amateurs, gourmets and anyone who
appreciates food, wine and cooking.

How to reach i Fontanini coming BY CAR from Modena

Exit the motorway A1 Milano-Bologna at Modena Sud and take the SS 623 on your left, in the direction of
Zocca. Go past Spilamberto and Vignola along the river Panaro (on your left), pass Marano and when you
reach Ponte Samone, turn left over the bridge. The road now goes up for about 11 km passing through
Samone, continuing towards Zocca/Monteombraro. When you reach a crossroads just before Zocca, turn
left to Montombraro and continue for 3.5 km. Drive through Montombraro and take the second road on
your left, via Lamizze, before the gas station. Follow it for about 500 m. When you see a wooden sign
saying "FONTANINI' on your right, take the small road on the left (n.473), go past the first group of
houses, continue straight ahead on the unpaved descending road that ends at the houses, called Fontanini
di Sotto, via Lamizze 473/c. For reaching TORRE you have to turn left at the small crossroad just before
arriving in Fontanini's main court.
