Feel like a real Roman in our lovely and cosy bright apartment!!!

The Oblò Apartment, a holiday apartment in Rome, is located in the central
neighbourhood Appio, one of the best connected and commercial areas of the City.
This bright apartment, completely renovated in 2009, is housed in a nice and
quiet 1930's building. It is located on the 2nd floor with elevator and can
accommodate, comfortly, up to 5 guests.

The Oblò is 65 square meters (about 700 sq.ft.) and is composed of:
- an entrance hall
- a living room with two single futon beds
- a separate dinette kitchen (equipped with kitchen utensils, gas cooker, oven,
refrigerator, freezer)
- a bathroom with toilet/bidet, cabin shower and towel radiator
- a double-bedroom with a wardrobe and a chest of drawers "early 20th century"
- a single bedroom with a small chest dresser
- a balcony

The Oblo' apartment is provided with:
- bed linens, blankets and towels
- hair dryer
- microwave
- iron and ironing-board
- vacuum cleaner
- washing machine (soaps included)
- independent heating
- ceiling fans (living room-double bedroom)
- double glazed aluminium windows ensure an optimal thermal and acoustic
insulation
- TV
- upon request we can guarantee an Italian SIM Card (with an Italian cell phone
and phone number) – credit not included

The original Venetian floor has been conserved throughout the apartment.

The apartment is located in the central neighbourhood “Appio-San Giovanni”, one
of the best connected and commercial area of the City.

The Oblò Apartment is in fact ideal for its location! It is very well connected:
public transportation has stops a few meters from the apartment. From here you
can visit the main sights of Rome, having available the principal lines of urban
transport:

Buses:
- Bus 85 takes you through the old city centre: Saint John's Basilica, The
Colosseum, Imperial Forums, The “Mouth of Truth”, Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso,
Spanish Steps, Trevi's Fountain.
- Bus 16 takes you to Termini Station which has buses to all areas of Rome and
underground lines A and B.

Underground:
- Line A is 5 minutes on foot. The closest stop to the apartment is Furio
Camillo. The underground takes you through the city centre: Saint John's
Basilica, Termini Station (connection with line B), Spanish Steps, The Vatican
Museums and Saint Peter's Basilica.

The main sights of Rome are within short distances:
- Basilica of St. John Lateran: 3 stops by metro in about 6 min (line A)
- Termini railway station: 6 stops by metro in about 12 min (line A)
- Colosseum: 7 stops by metro in about 14 min (line B)
- Trevi Fountain: 8 stops by metro in about 16 min (line A)
- Spanish Steps: 9 stops by metro in about 18 min (line A)
- Circus Maximus: 9 stops by metro in about 20 min (line B)
- Saint Peter's Basilica: 12 stops by metro in about 24 min (line A)
- Vatican Museums: 13 stops by metro in about 26 min (line A)


Tuscolana Railway Station:
- At 250 meters there is the railway station with trains to and from Fiumicino
Airport “Leonardo da Vinci”. (40 minute ride- every 15 minutes; ticket € 5.50)

Taxi:
- cabstand at 300 meters (Piazza dell'Alberone)

It is also very easy to reach The Oblo' Apartment either by train, bus, car or
