This is the place you imagine when you dream about Tuscany. A typical farmhouse
made of stone, restored into two independent apartments, situated on the top of
a hill (600 ft.). Stretching as far as the eye can see is a typical Tuscan
landscape, vineyards, olive groves, cypresses, and in the background Lucca with
its intact medieval city walls and many towers. It couldn’t possibly be more
spectacular.
This nature area is protected and is one of the most attractive areas if you are
looking for peace in an untouched setting, yet wish to be within easy reach of
the city - excellent hiking here.
Cecchina is a house on two levels. Since it is built into the hill each
apartment has entries at different levels. Adjacent is a house belonging to an
Italian family.
The entry to the ground floor apartment is into a hall. It has a cozy living
area with TV/DVD and a comfortable sofabed, a studio kitchen (gas burners, oven,
fridge), a double bedroom, bathroom w/showers, a room with two bunk beds.
(Please note that one has to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the
bathroom).One small WC.
The upper floor has an entry from a furnished outdoor area and consists of a
comfortable living room with TV/DVD and a comfortable sofa sleeper, a small
kitchen that faces the view (gas burner, oven, and fridge), double bedroom,
bathroom w/shower, as well as a room with two bunk beds, and a WC.

The house is thus well suited for two families with children who wish to
vacation together. The division into two apartments gives the families privacy.
The interior is wonderful – the original terra cotta floors and beamed ceilings,
the rustic furnishings, all contribute to the Tuscan ambience to the rooms. The
kitchens are simple.
There are two terraces with bbq outside the house.
Private parking.
Laundry
A private and secluded pool (11 x 5 meters) (open 08/05/2010 to 02/10/2010) is
situated about 120 ft. higher than the house. From the deck chairs you can enjoy
a breathtaking panoramic view over the town of Lucca and the surrounding hills.
(Children in the swimming pool or swimming pool area MUST be under adult
supervision at all times)

The road to the house with its fantastic view is somewhat steep, but is blacktopped.
Central heating.

LOCAL AMMENITIES : Tremendously good country restaurants within 2.5 km.
Supermarket and other shopping in the village of S. Alessio about Km 6.

Price includes water and electricity.
Linen are not included in the price EU 15 per person/week/ change. These will be
ordered automatically, unless other arrangements are made. Obligatory
end-of-stay cleaning is not included in the price, EU 120
Heatingcosts are not included. Must be paid according to consumption

Deposit EU 600 must be paid to the owner on arrival.
