Description

Even in low season this is a great place for a holiday. Spring starts late
February, it is still summer in November, the sea is about 20 degrees in
November.

Our beautiful furnished and well equipped house is in a quiet residential area
in the small resort of Marathonas but just a few minutes walk from the sea,
shops and tavernas. You have a fantastic view of the sea from all parts of the
house and the garden. The upper floor has a large livingroom with kitchen with
all modern conveniences. There are 2 balconies with a fantastic seaview. The
lower floor has 3- 4 bedrooms with a terrace running outside. An exquisite
pool with jacuzzi in the garden.

We regard this as our second home and have done our best to make this
into a place for a comfortable and troublefree holiday. Towels,bedlinen,
detergents, TV, CD, AC, washing machine etc. are supplied.

Marathonas, a small exclusive seaside resort, has a regular bus service to
Aegina Town, situated 4 km away. Marathonas has sandy beaches, several
seaside tavernas, a church, a minimarket and a bakery. Aegina Town, a
bustling historic fishing town, with a beautiful seafront offers all kinds of
shopping, seaside cafés and tavernas, narrow alleys, boat trips, anything
you need in a genuine Greek environment. There is a frequent
ferry/dolphin service to Pireus/Athens.

The island of Aegina is wellknown for its beauty, mild climate and history.
Many Athenians choose to have their holiday homes here where pistacchio
nuts and olives are picked and goats still roam the hills.

A longer period makes us happy and very negotiable.

Road Description

Athens airport. Direct bus to Pireus harbour. The dolphin takes 40 minutes,
ferryboats about 1 hour. Taxi to the house or
bus without luggage!
