Vamråk is a small village located right by Sognefjorden in the municipality of Høyanger. Although
Vamråk is a quiet and peaceful village it’s still relatively centrally located, Bergen is only a two-hour
drive away, and the international airport provides easy access to Europe.

Several of the biggest attractions in Norway such as national parks, UNESCO world heritage sites and
internationally renowned tourist routes are located not far from Vamråk. During summer Vamråk is
observed by thousands of tourists on board some of the world’s largest cruise ships that pass by the
village several times a day.

You are welcome to rent boats for fishing and quick access to the fjord, you may use our great hiking
trails or just relax in our peaceful village.
