Spend the summer in Båtvik - a pearl on the coast of the Gulf
of Bothnia, near the five-star Byske sea resort!
In a scenic idyll, surrounded by the sea breeze and the
tranquility of the forest, lies our charming 1.5-story cottage -
originally the village's old almshouse!
Country charm but with modern comfort, with a fantastic view
of the tranquil Fetviken and the coast. Upstairs there is a
living room, a quiet oasis to retreat to and chat, or enjoy a
book or just let your eyes rest on the sparkling water outside.
The cozy bedrooms offer restful nights and beautiful
mornings, where we have many times seen the northern
lights through the windows. Upstairs there is also a balcony
with a nice view of Fetviken and the garden.
There is an airconditioner and an efficient pellet stove upstairs
that can be used on chilly days (but mainly for winter use),
while a new water heater, dishwasher and washing machine
make your stay smooth and comfortable. In the kitchen there
is a cozy stove that you can make a cozy fire in.
Outside the house, a well-planned plot awaits with space for
both rest and creativity. Here there are rhubarb, raspberry
and blackcurrant bushes, as well as plenty of blueberries and
wild strawberries in the thickets behind the house.
The parking lot has space for two cars, and on the other side
of the plot there is another space for a car or boat - perfect
for those who love the sea life.
A 5-minute drive away is Byske with restaurants, a cozy cafe,
grocery stores, a pharmacy, a unique church town and an
unusually salmon-rich river, perfect for fishing!
There is a sauna cabin on the property – a cozy addition for
both cool and pleasant summer evenings after a dip in the
sea. For guests, teenagers or as a peaceful workplace there is
also a separate sleeping cabin, which provides extra flexibility
and space. The gazebo also becomes a lovely outdoor room.
The coast is just a few minutes' walk away. For those who
appreciate swimming, saunas and community, there is the
village association's newly built sauna cabin by the sea,
perfect for relaxation all year round. Next to this is also a
small sandy beach. There is also a park area with barbecue
areas, a dance floor, a playground and a football pitch. There
are also historical ruins from the sawmill era, which tell an
exciting story about the past of the place.
The house is rented out, partly furnished, from the beginning
of June to the beginning of October, with the possibility of
extension or sale.
